In Short: Currently sitting with writer's block whilst trying to write-up my PhD thesis. Working for my wage in between. Movies, gym, squash and other social events fit in there somewhere too.

I'm still a student. Yeah, I know, it is sad at times. At least I can say I'm doing a PhD. Once that is done then I will hopefully be able to really start living. I have, in my head, a list of things I want to do. At first it was a list of things to do before turning 30. Now I have to change that to 'before I'm 35'. Oh yes, on my list of things to do I will be able to scratch off 'achieved the highest possible level of education, besides becoming a Prof (honorary title)'. At least this way I can say 'been there, done that'. Sometimes however I want to quit, but I'm so close. I also lecture in between. Being doing it for 4 years. I don't love it, but at least I have the luxury of doing that until I've decided what I really want to do with my life.

This journal is currently a place for me to blow of some steam. A place where I can bitch and moan. Where I can shout out how I feel. Yes sometimes I might seem melodramatic. My life is a fairytale in comparison to many less fortunate people all over the world. I see it like this: Everyone has their own obstacles. They can be rich or famous or poor or living with an incurable disease or even in daily pain (emotionally or physically), but when I complain it is about something that affects me. My life. For the few minutes it takes me to put my thoughts into words, it is all about me. Forget about the world. I do however think about the world once my ranting is over, and that plus the fact I could just whine without interuptions makes me feel better about my life.

If, however, I start sharing opinions or views about stuff and things happening then you will know it. They will be my opinions, and even if others might disagree then I welcome them to share their points of view with me. Please just don't try forcing your opinions on me. We all have the right to our own opinions.

Another important fact about me. I might seem very opinionated and extroverted on this Bio, but I'm very sensitive and a real shy and introverted person. This journal is the one way I might speak up and voice what I think. At present I'm a bit still uncomfortable to share too much, but that will hopefully change.
